The Final Stretch

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Well, we’ve made it this far, but with 2 weeks remaining in the regular season, it is far from over.  The Cubs have 12 games remaining and the schedule looks to favor us.  As for Milwaukee, tricher poker en lignejeu de poker gratuitspoker online argentpoker multijoueur gratuitesregles tournoi pokerjeux poker tour en lignele pokerевтини мебелиsites de poker onlineregles poker 2play seven card stud onlineпреносими компютри преносими компютри преносими компютри преносими компютри преносими компютриjeu de poker internetjouez pokerpoker games networld of series pokerstrategie poker onlinetelecharger partie pokerjouer poker omaha en lignejeu de carte poker gratuitesjouer poker mactélécharger de poker onlineworld champion pokerjouez au poker en lignepoker gratuites hors lignejeu poker freewarelogiciel jeu pokerraman amplifierholdem poker onlinetilt pokertable de poker en lignepoker gratuites bruelregles de jeu poker, regles poker, regles poker hold hemjouer de pokersexy poker onlineprofessional poker tourregles poker holdemjouer poker en ligne gratuitestricher au poker en lignejouer o poker gratuitementpoker gratuites sur internetregles du jeu de pokerjeux poker a telechargerколи под наемstud poker onlinebonus pokerкомпютриvideo poker a telechargerpoker gratuites cadeaujeu poker portables ,jeu de poker en ligne, jeu pokerwam poker comsalle poker onlineregles du poker texas holdemjeu poker a telechargerpoker en ligne paypal they will play 14 more games and their schedule does not look so easy.  I am not even going to mention St. Louis here because with us winning 3 of 4 over the weekend, we basically took them out of contention.

The remaining 4 series for the Cubs are Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Florida, and then Cincinnati again.  All of our series are 3 games series, and the first two will be at home, the final 2 will be away.  As for the Brewers they have to face Houston first, then head to Atlanta for 4 games.  After these two series are complete hopefully the Cubs will be 3 or 4 games above them in the race.  For their final two series Milwaukee will be home against The Cardinals for 3 games and The Padres for 4 games.

The final two weeks look very promising for The Cubs, I would be confident in saying if they took 7 of the final 12 games they would easily take the division and move onto the playoffs.   The Brewers have a tough road ahead Atlanta and San Diego will give them a run for their money, considering San Diego is at the top of the wild card and has some of the best pitching in the league.

I am looking forward to our first playoff birth since 2003, when we came 5 outs from a World Series appearance.  Go Cubs
